  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen unsweetened cranberries
  • 1/2 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 cup oat flour

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sweet potato by steaming, boiling, or baking until tender. Let cool before mashing.
  2. Chop cranberries and strawberries into small pieces or pulse them in a food processor.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, applesauce, and optional flaxseed.
  4. Stir in chopped fruits until evenly mixed.
  5. Gradually add oat flour to achieve a soft dough; adjust consistency if necessary.
  6. Shape the dough into treats using hands or molds.
  7. For raw treats, refrigerate for about 2 hours; for baked treats, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool completely before serving.
