  • 500g ground beef or lamb
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 34 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/4 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in chopped tomatoes; cook until softened and oil separates.
  4. Add ground meat; brown evenly while breaking up clumps.
  5. Mix in spices and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add diced potatoes and enough water to cover them; bring to a boil.
  7. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  8. Garnish with garam masala and fresh coriander before serving.
