  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 ¼ lbs. strip steak (or skirt, flank, or top sirloin)
  • 5 cups broccoli florets
  • 6 oz. ramen noodles

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine beef broth, chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, and brown sugar. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips. Marinate in the prepared sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat peanut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic briefly until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Return marinated beef (with any remaining marinade) to the skillet; cook until browned.
  6. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain and add to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined.
