  • 1 lb sirloin steak tips
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup cubed Velveeta cheese
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot, add rigatoni, and cook until al dente (10-12 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Pat dry sirloin steak tips and season with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear steak bites until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté diced onion for about 5 minutes until soft. Add minced garlic and stir for another 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and milk; bring to a gentle simmer for 5-7 minutes to thicken.
