Indulge in the deliciousness of Cheeseburger Bowls, a delightful twist on the classic cheeseburger that captures all the flavors without the heaviness of a traditional meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/3 cup burger sauce or Thousand Island dressing

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks (about 8-10 minutes). Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika halfway through cooking.
  2. While the beef cooks, prepare toppings: chop romaine lettuce, halve cherry tomatoes, slice pickles and red onion.
  3. Once beef is cooked and seasoned, assemble bowls by layering chopped romaine at the bottom.
  4. Spoon warm seasoned beef over the lettuce followed by shredded cheddar cheese to allow it to melt slightly.
  5. Top each bowl with cherry tomatoes, pickles, red onion, and drizzle with burger sauce before serving.
