Ingredients
Scale
1.25 lb sirloin steak, sliced into strips
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
12 oz penne pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 oz cream cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the sirloin strips with Cajun seasoning and sauté until browned (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
Whisk in flour to create a roux, then gradually add heavy cream and milk while stirring continuously until smooth.
Stir in cheeses until melted and creamy. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper as desired.
Combine cooked penne and steak in the sauce, tossing until well coated.
