  • ½ lb. small or medium shell pasta
  • Olive oil, butter, flour, seasonings (hot sauce, mustard powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika)

  2. Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness, season with salt and pepper.

  5. In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat; whisk in flour to form a roux.
  6. Gradually add the half-and-half mixture while whisking until smooth; stir in shredded cheddar until melted.
