  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 14 oz coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage & carrots)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil. Once shimmering, add diced onion, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef (or turkey/chicken) to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in the coleslaw mix and cook until slightly softened while maintaining crunch.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar; stir well to combine all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
