  • 57 tbsp heavy cream
  • Patriotic sprinkles and licorice for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a cupcake pan with patriotic liners.
  2. Prepare the cake mix as per package instructions.
  3. Divide batter into three bowls; color one bowl blue and another red.
  4. Layer blue, red, and white batters into cupcake liners.
  5. Use a toothpick to create a light swirl in each tin.
  6. Bake for 18-21 minutes until toothpick comes out clean; let cool completely.
  7. For frosting, melt white chocolate; beat softened butter with powdered sugar, cream, and lemon juice until creamy.
  8. Combine melted chocolate with frosting; beat until fluffy.
