Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into thick steak tips
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and sear half of the seasoned steak tips for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. Lower the heat slightly and add minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Pour in heavy cream while scraping any browned bits from the skillet. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  4. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions; drain but reserve some pasta water.
  5. Toss rigatoni in the sauce along with the seared steak tips. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed; season to taste with Italian seasoning.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
