Ingredients
Scale
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 lb ground beef (lean)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes with chilies, undrained
2 tbsp butter
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Cook the bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning; sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
Add the undrained Rotel tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes to meld flavors.
Combine the drained pasta with the beef mixture, tossing to coat thoroughly.
Stir in grated Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
