Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes with chilies, undrained
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning; sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the undrained Rotel tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Combine the drained pasta with the beef mixture, tossing to coat thoroughly.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
