Ingredients
Scale
1 lb chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp canola oil
5 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
Prepare the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
Coat each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour mixture.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; add unsalted butter and canola oil. Once melted, add the coated chicken in an even layer.
Sear each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
Combine softened butter with honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a separate bowl. Pour over the chicken in the skillet and stir gently to coat.
Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
