Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season sirloin cubes with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear steak bites until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove from pan.
  2. In the same skillet, pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8–10 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese; stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Return seared steak to the skillet and mix well. Stir in butter until melted.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
