Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup beef broth (low-sodium)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and drizzle in olive oil.
  2. Season flank steak with salt and pepper; add to the pot and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in beef broth, honey, and soy sauce; bring to a simmer.
  5. Add pasta directly into the pot, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid. Cover tightly and cook according to package instructions (8-10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  6. Once pasta is al dente, reintroduce the seared flank steak to the pot. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
