Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (flank, sirloin, or ribeye), cut into thin strips
  • 1 pound penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and red pepper flakes; set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and season with salt and pepper. Sear until browned (about 3-4 minutes), then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  5. Return the steak to the skillet and pour over the prepared sauce. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until coated in sauce. Cook for another minute until heated through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
