Quick & Easy Lo Mein is a delightful stir-fried noodle dish ready in just 20 minutes! This homemade version outshines takeout, offering vibrant flavors and customizable ingredients that make it perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 lb lo mein noodles (fresh or cooked spaghetti)
  • 1 cup napa cabbage (chopped)
  • 1 cup red bell pepper (julienned)
  • ¾ cup snow peas (trimmed)
  • ½ cup carrot (julienned)
  • 4 button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 green onion (chopped)
  • Soy sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Garlic
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauces, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, cornstarch, and chicken stock in a bowl.
  2. Soak the lo mein noodles in boiling water for 15–20 seconds until al dente; strain without rinsing.
  3. In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil and stir-fry carrots, bell pepper, snow peas, mushrooms, and napa cabbage for about 1–2 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to medium; add cooked noodles and sauce mixture. Toss everything together until well combined.
  5. Serve hot and garnish with chopped green onions.
