Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
  4. Stir in the Earl Grey tea leaves into the wet mixture.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for about 9 minutes until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
