3 Ingredient Baked Ravioli (A.K.A. Lazy Lasagna)

A simple yet satisfying meal that mimics traditional lasagna without all the hassle, made with frozen cheese ravioli, pasta sauce, and mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli 24oz
  • 1 jar pasta sauce 24oz, any variety works; marinara or alfredo are great options.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella Opt for heaping cups for extra cheesiness.
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan Optional but adds a nice depth of flavor.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400° F and grease a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of the greased baking dish, using about 3/4 cup of sauce.
  3. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  4. Top this layer with half of the remaining pasta sauce and half of your shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat this process starting with what's left of the ravioli, then layering on the remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese before sprinkling parmesan on top if desired.
  6. Cover your baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
