Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup apple cider preferably fresh
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar for sprinkling on top

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Pan
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients until well combined.
Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Bake the Bread
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  2. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the top of the batter.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
  1. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  2. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
