Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Rinse all berries under cold water and gently pat dry.
  2. Hull and slice strawberries into halves or quarters.
  3. Tear basil leaves into smaller pieces by hand.
  4. In a large bowl, combine mozzarella balls, sliced strawberries, and blueberries. Gently toss to mix.
  5. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze over the salad just before serving. Toss gently to coat without breaking the berries.
  6. Serve immediately on a platter for best freshness.
