- Dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
- In a bowl, mix together bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the diced chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the marinated chicken until it’s golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet but keep the drippings. Pour in the remaining marinade mixed with cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce.
- Return the chicken to the skillet once the sauce has thickened, stirring to coat the chicken.
- Serve the Bourbon Chicken over rice or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions.
