Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and mix in brown sugar until glossy.
  3. Stir in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together flour and salt in a separate bowl, then fold into the wet mixture gently.
  5. Add butterscotch chips and mix until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
