- For the filling, combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Assemble the cake by layering one cooled cake on a platter, spreading half the ricotta filling on top, then adding the second layer and topping with remaining filling.
