Method
Prepare the Bolognese Sauce
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Cook the Gnocchi
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float.
- Drain the gnocchi and set aside.
Assemble the Bake
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a baking dish, combine the cooked gnocchi and Bolognese sauce. Mix well.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
