Gradually add in the grated Parmesan cheese while stirring continuously until melted and creamy, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning along with salt and pepper to taste; stir until everything is well combined. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth or water to achieve desired consistency.
  3. Prepare your hamburger buns by lightly toasting them either in a skillet or toaster until golden brown.
