- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and cumin. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Shred the chicken once cooled.
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Mix into shredded chicken along with cheese.
- Warm tortillas to make them pliable. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at one end of each tortilla and roll tightly.
- Heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry flautas until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with sour cream and salsa verde.
