Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 cup dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon butter for finishing
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the white wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.
  3. Add chicken broth, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
  5. Stir in butter for a rich finish.
Serve
  1. Plate the chicken and spoon the white wine sauce over the top.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
