Method
Prepare the Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.
- Add chicken broth, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
- Stir in butter for a rich finish.
Serve
- Plate the chicken and spoon the white wine sauce over the top.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
