  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup raisins (plump)

Method

  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the dough and fold in raisins evenly.
  5. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan. Let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and hollow when tapped.
