Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
  • 1 packet active dry yeast about 2 1/4 teaspoons
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk warm
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground coffee instant or brewed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk or more for desired consistency
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, ground coffee, and cinnamon.
  2. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the filling evenly.
Shape and Bake
  1. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces. Place rolls on a greased baking sheet.
  2. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
Prepare the Glaze
  1. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.
