Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 large sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce or salsa

Method
 

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the chopped onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Lay seasoned chicken breasts on top and pour in your chosen sauce.
  5. Add enough chicken broth to cover the chicken fully.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks; mix everything together before serving.
