Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt or plain full-fat For a creamy base that adds richness.
  • 1 ½ tablespoon extra virgin olive oil Provides healthy fats and enhances flavor.
  • 1 ½ tablespoon lemon juice Adds tanginess and brightness to the salad.
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic, grated Infuses a subtle depth of flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt Essential for enhancing all the other flavors.
  • teaspoon black pepper Adds a touch of spice.
  • 1 ½ lb cucumbers, sliced The star of the salad, providing crunch and freshness.
  • ½ red onion finely sliced Offers a mild sweetness and color contrast.
  • ¼ cup fresh dill, chopped Gives an aromatic herby note that complements the cucumbers perfectly.

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Dressing: Place the yogurt dressing in a small bowl and stir until well combined and smooth.
  2. Slice the Ingredients: Slice the onion and cut the cucumbers in half lengthwise, then slice each half into thin rounds about 3mm or 1/8" thick.
  3. Combine the Ingredients: In a large salad bowl, place all the prepared salad ingredients including the sliced cucumber and onion. Add the dressing on top and toss gently.
  4. Adjust Seasoning and Serve: Taste the salad and adjust seasoning if necessary by adding more salt or pepper as desired.
