  • 1 cups sour cream
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 cups heavy cream
  • 0.25 cups brown sugar for caramelizing

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.

  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sour cream and vanilla extract.
  4. Incorporate eggs one at a time until just blended.
  5. Pour filling into the crust-lined pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until set around the edges but slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Cool completely at room temperature; then chill in the fridge for at least four hours.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the top and use a kitchen torch to caramelize until golden brown.
