  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping apples and mincing garlic.

  4. Pour in white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Dijon mustard until combined.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer with the sauce for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh thyme.
