Ingredients
  

  • 12 tubes manicotti pasta
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, basil, and parsley until smooth.
  3. Fill each manicotti shell with the cheesy mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  4. Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange stuffed manicotti in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara and mozzarella.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden.
