  • 1 cup powdered sugar for the glaze
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice for the glaze

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing in fresh lemon juice and zest until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with enough lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake before slicing.
