Prepare the Ingredients
- Chop the vegetables and set aside.
- Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
Layer the Ingredients in the Crock Pot
- Place the chopped onions, carrots, and potatoes at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Arrange the beef short ribs on top of the vegetables.
Make the Sauce
- In a bowl, combine beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef short ribs in the crock pot.
Cook the Ribs
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
Serve
- Once cooked, remove the beef short ribs and vegetables from the crock pot.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
