Ingredients
  

Beef Short Ribs
  • 4 pounds beef short ribs bone-in
Vegetables
  • 2 cups carrots sliced
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cups potatoes cubed
Sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Chop the vegetables and set aside.
  2. Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
Layer the Ingredients in the Crock Pot
  1. Place the chopped onions, carrots, and potatoes at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Arrange the beef short ribs on top of the vegetables.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
  2. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef short ribs in the crock pot.
Cook the Ribs
  1. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
Serve
  1. Once cooked, remove the beef short ribs and vegetables from the crock pot.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
