Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef 80% lean
  • 1 cup bread crumbs plain or seasoned
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Meatloaf
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are well combined, but do not overmix.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake the Meatloaf
  1. Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  3. Serve warm with your favorite sides.
