Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Broccoli
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
Honey Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, butter, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Mix well and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Cook the Broccoli
  1. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
Cook the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
  2. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
