  • to taste salt Essential seasoning to enhance all flavors.
  • to taste fresh cracked black pepper Adds a touch of heat and complexity.
  • 2 Tbsp chopped chives For freshness and color in the meatballs.
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil Necessary for frying the meatballs evenly.

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for chicken meatballs and mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.
  2. Preheat a medium cooking pan over medium heat, ensuring it is hot enough to sear the meatballs properly.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch diameter meatballs and add them to the preheated pan with vegetable oil; cook covered for about 7 minutes before flipping them over.
  4. While cooking, whisk together all ingredients for teriyaki sauce in a separate bowl, then pour it into the pan with nearly cooked meatballs.
  5. Continue cooking until the meatballs are fully done, ensuring they absorb all the flavors from the teriyaki sauce.
  6. After removing meatballs from the pan, let the sauce simmer until some liquid reduces before mixing it back with the meatballs for an irresistible finish.
