Prepare the Shrimp
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Dip each shrimp into the buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.
Fry the Shrimp
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the shrimp in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove shrimp with tongs and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Make Hot Honey Sauce
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Heat over low heat until warm and mixed.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Serve
- Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the fried shrimp or toss them in the sauce before serving.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
