  • 1/2 cup milk

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine sliced bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat the bananas.
  2. Transfer the banana mixture into a greased 9-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Make the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter over the banana filling in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake the Cobbler
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
