Prepare the Steak
- Season the ribeye steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare).
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Add dried thyme and Parmesan cheese, and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve
- Slice the rested steaks and plate them.
- Drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the steak.
- Serve immediately with your choice of sides.

Notes
For best results, let the steak rest after cooking to retain its juices.
