Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through (7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half the meat sauce, followed by the lasagna noodles, dollops of ricotta, mozzarella, and finish with the remaining meat sauce. Top with mozzarella.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
