  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust for spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice about 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  2. In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Heat a skillet over high heat until smoking hot. Add olive oil and sear each chicken breast for about 5 minutes on each side until beautifully charred.
  5. Once cooked through (approximately 7-8 minutes total), remove from heat and drizzle lemon juice over the chicken.
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
