Method
- Heat olive oil in a pot and cook the sausages until browned. Remove and slice them.
- In the same pot, add onion, celery, carrots, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
- Stir in dried thyme and flour, cooking for a minute.
- Gradually add the stock while stirring, then add bay leaves, wild rice, and potatoes.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in cream and sliced sausages, heat through, and season with salt.
