Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground chicken
  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions chopped for garnish
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping the cabbage and mincing the garlic and ginger.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil and sauté the garlic and ginger for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until slightly wilted.
  5. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes if desired. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.
