- Wash the limes thoroughly and cut them into quarters without removing the peel.
- In a blender, combine quartered limes, sugar, and cold water. Blend until well mixed.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove pulp and peel.
- Add ice cubes to the pitcher and stir well. Let sit for a few minutes to chill.
- Serve in glasses filled with ice and garnish with lime wedges or mint leaves if desired.
