Ingredients
  

Cauliflower
  • 1 large head cauliflower cut into florets
Batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water adjust for consistency
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup for vegan
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Cauliflower
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, and salt. Gradually whisk in water until smooth.
  3. Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Place the battered cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Cauliflower
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Heat over medium until bubbling.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine and Serve
  1. Once the cauliflower is done, remove from the oven and toss with the sauce until well coated.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
