Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Refrigerated biscuits Choose your favorite brand for convenience.
  • 8 oz Softened cream cheese Ensure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Sweetens the filling to perfection.
  • 1/2 cup Strawberry preserves Adds a fruity twist to the filling.
  • Vegetable oil For frying, use enough to fill your pot or pan.
  • Powdered sugar For dusting, gives a sweet finish before serving.

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Flatten each biscuit round into a 3-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserves and a scoop of the cream cheese mixture to the center of each circle. Fold each biscuit into a half-moon shape, sealing the edges tightly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the donuts seam-side down until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the donuts onto paper towels to drain excess oil and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
