- In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Flatten each biscuit round into a 3-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Add 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserves and a scoop of the cream cheese mixture to the center of each circle. Fold each biscuit into a half-moon shape, sealing the edges tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the donuts seam-side down until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the donuts onto paper towels to drain excess oil and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
