  • 4 slices center cut bacon
  • 12 ounces frozen potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen corn
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 7 ounces turkey kielbasa
  • 2 cups fat free half and half
  • 1 pound cleaned crab meat, divided

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add frozen potatoes, corn, vegetable broth, garlic salt, Cajun seasoning, thyme, and black pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil and simmer until heated through.
  3. Mash some of the potatoes for creaminess if desired. Stir in sliced turkey kielbasa and let simmer until heated.
  4. Blend in half and half along with most of the crab meat; simmer until hot again.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with remaining crab meat and Cajun seasoning.
